This policy explains what Kyuu Cafe LLC (“Kyuu Cafe,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, the upcoming Kyuu app and our online ordering, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to make your order, run rewards and keep things working, and we never sell your data.

This website
- No accounts. You can browse the site and the menu without signing up. The site never asks for your name, email or phone number.
- No ad trackers. We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
- Google map. The Visit section shows an embedded Google map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and device details and may set its own cookies. Google handles that under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Our Google rating. Our server asks Google for our star rating. Your browser doesn’t contact Google for this, and nothing about you is sent.
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel automatically records basic technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems. They are kept for a short time and are not used for marketing.
- Ordering today. The Order buttons on this site open our online ordering page, run by SpotOn. What you enter there is handled by SpotOn under its own privacy policy.
The Kyuu app and online ordering
We’re building a Kyuu app and our own online ordering. When they launch, this section applies to them.
What we collect
- Your name, so we know whose order is whose.
- Your email address or phone number, to sign you in and send receipts and order updates.
- Order history: what you ordered, when, and from which cafe, so you can reorder favorites and we can help if something goes wrong.
- Rewards stamps you’ve earned and redeemed.
- Push notification tokens: a code from your phone that lets us send notifications like “your order is ready.” You can turn notifications off anytime in your phone’s settings.
- Location, only if you allow it, only while the app is in use, and only to find the nearest cafe. We don’t track your location in the background or keep a history of it.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never store your card number. We only receive limited details, such as the card brand, the last four digits and whether the payment went through. Stripe handles payment data under the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Where it’s stored
Your account, order and rewards information is stored with Supabase, our database provider, on secured servers that only our team can access.
How we use it
To take and prepare your orders, run rewards, send order updates and receipts, help you when you contact us, keep the service secure, and understand which menu items are popular overall.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
- We share it only with the companies that help us run the service (Stripe for payments, Supabase for storage, Vercel for hosting), only what they need to do that job, or when the law requires it.
- Marketing messages are opt-in only. We won’t send promotional emails, texts or push notifications unless you turn them on, and you can turn them off anytime in the app or with the unsubscribe link. Receipts and order updates aren’t marketing; they’re part of your order.
Deleting your account
- In the app: open your account page and tap Delete account.
- By email: write to hello@kyuucafe9.com from the email address on your account, or include the phone number on it. We may ask you to confirm it’s you.
We delete your account and personal information within 30 days. Unused rewards stamps are removed with it. You can also email us to get a copy of your information or to correct it.
How long we keep data
- Account information: while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after you delete it.
- Order and payment records: basic transaction records may be kept as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after your account is deleted.
- Website hosting logs: for a short period set by our hosting provider.
- Location: not stored.
Children
Our website, app and online ordering are not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect.
